Day 1 Arrival in Alghero
Landing in Alghero, a charming historic town on the west coast of Sardinia. As with all our Sardinia tours, you’ll be warmly welcomed with a smile and a wave by both your private driver and Alma Italia tour host. The Alma Italia philosophy as specialist Sardinia Tour operators is that Sardinia Tours should be about rest, fun and adventure, to inspire and restore you. The day of your arrival then is designed for you to recharge after your long flight. Your private driver will take you straight to your stylish boutique hotel in the heart of Alghero where you can relax and get refreshed. When you are ready, we will take you on a stroll through the centre of Alghero to soak up the atmosphere and then to dinner at one of our favourite local restaurants in all of Alghero to enjoy your first taste of mouthwatering Italian cuisine at its finest and most authentic.

Day 2 Capo Caccia
After a relaxing slow morning of a delicious breakfast by the pool to recover from your journey, your private driver will help you begin to tour Sardinia in style with a scenic drive of the majestic cliffs along the coast known as ‘Capo Caccia’, for Instagram-worthy pictures. Ancient white cliffs shaped by time, plunge into the sea; caves and underwater grottoes; rare ocean coral; marine flora and shoals of fish: the spectacular landscapes of the north-western tip of Sardinia will stun you. In the afternoon back to Alghero town for lunch and a stroll while shopping accompanied by a local guide to provide you with a historical and cultural perspective of the town.

Day 3 The spectacular bay of Stintino
Today you will discover why Sardinia is without a doubt home to the best Italy beach holidays. Your private driver will take you to Stintino, the next base of your Sardinia tour. After settling into your boutique hotel it’s time to grab your beach towel and hit what is renowned as one of the most beautiful Italian beaches, ‘Pelosa’. Take the day to fully enjoy this spectacular place and enjoy a fresh seafood lunch at a classic beach side ‘Trattoria’.

Day 4 Asinara Island
It is possible on Alma Italia’s Sardinia tours to also explore the smaller paradise islands surrounding the coastline of Sardinia. Today a private boat will take you to Asinara Island, just off the bay of Stintino. You will explore the island by Jeep, soaking up the natural beauty and learning about it’s fascinating history. Asinara island used to be a prison back in the past, however if it were us, we’d confess to any crime if it meant being taken here since this place is heaven on earth, and you will see why! The day will finish with dinner at a local restaurant watching the sunset over the glistening Mediterranean.

Day 5 Santa Maria Teresa di Gallura
Today your Sardinia tour will take you along the north coast to Santa Maria Teresa di Gallura. – On the way we will stop at the spectacular rocky coast, Costa Paradiso, another of our favorite Italy beach holidays spots. We will spend a good portion of the day here relaxing on the smooth rocks, swimming in the impossibly clear ocean water, taking the pictures of a lifetime. In the evening as the day cools, take some time before dinner to stroll around this charming coastal town before a gourmet evening at a typical Sardinian restaurant sampling local delicacies paired with plenty of local wine. It would be rude not to try it after all!

Day 6 Maddalena Islands
Another paradise is waiting for you on day six! Alma Italia will prove again why we are the most stylish of Sardinia tour operators by having a private boat waiting to take you off shore today to explore the Maddalena islands archipelago. Tour Sardinia like a local in the know by sailing to this stunning group of small islands to swim in the bluest water you ever seen! Lunch will be a delicious Italian picnic served on the boat. In the evening enjoy free time and perhaps wonder around the town of Santa Teresa di Gallura to try one of the best gelato’s you ever had!

Day 7 Olbia
Today your driver will take you to Olbia, our last destination. On route your driver will take you to one of the best vineyards in Sardinia to taste some of their highly regarded wines among the vines on your very own Sardinia wine tour.
In the afternoon enjoy one last dip in the crystal Sardinian Mediterranean before a guided walk to discover the bustling town of Olbia. Enjoy your last Italian dinner with some special local traits we will have waiting for you!
