There’s nowhere quite like Sardinia, the undisputed home to the best beaches in Italy. The landscapes are simply unreal; the island’s features are wild and gorgeous.
Coupled with Italian food and culture, the natural beauty of this Mediterranean island makes Sardinia tours a firm favorite for idyllic Italy beach holidays.
Adventure & Explore
To tour Sardinia is to discover splendidly unspoilt white and gold sand beaches, spectacular rocky promontories, crystal blue Mediterranean Sea and beautiful vegetation. The essence of Mirto, the Sardinian berry which can be made into a delicious liqueur, and jasmine flowers fill the air as you gaze at the sun, moon, and stars as they sparkle on the sea, their light shining brighter than you have ever seen it before.
This land is marked by proud and ancient culture with inhabitants that have occupied the island for millennia. Distinctive in history, language, a unique fusion of populations, culture and cuisine – this land is rustic, unusual, and wonderful to explore. Be awestruck as you tour Sardinia through impressive fortified towns or quaint fishing villages and admire the crafts of artisans who have handmade creations in the same ways as their elders have for centuries.

Day 2 Capo Caccia and wine tasting day
The day begins with a journey along the dramatic coastline of Alghero to the iconic Capo Caccia, where towering limestone cliffs plunge into the deep blue sea. From the top, the panoramic views are breathtaking: the jagged cliffs stretching along the horizon, the Mediterranean sparkling beneath the sun, and the rugged coastline unfolding in every direction. The fresh sea breeze carries the scent of salt and wild herbs, heightening the sense of awe as you take in the vast, natural beauty of this spectacular promontory.
After a stunning panoramic hike along the cliff you will reach the Neptune’s Grotto, a cavern carved by the relentless action of the sea over millennia. Descending the steps, you enter a world of dripping stalactites, shimmering stalagmites, and natural pools reflecting light in every direction. Your guide brings the cave to life, sharing its geological history and the legends woven into its formation. The sound of water echoing off the stone walls creates an immersive, almost otherworldly atmosphere.
In the afternoon, the journey continues inland to Sella & Mosca Winery, set amidst the rolling vineyards near Alghero. The beaches here stretch into gently curving bays, framed by pale granite rocks and dotted with tufts of Mediterranean vegetation, creating a sense of secluded paradise.
The water is impossibly clear, shifting from pale turquoise near the shore to deeper sapphire as it stretches toward the horizon. The boat rocks gently as it slips from the marina, the Maddalena Archipelago stretching out like a cluster of hidden gems across the glittering Sardinian sea. The water is impossibly clear, a kaleidoscope of turquoise, sapphire, and emerald, and the sunlight dances across its surface, sparkling like liquid diamonds. The scent of salt and pine drifts from the islands, mingling with the warm sea breeze that brushes against your skin.
As you glide between islands, each one reveals a new marvel. Caprera rises with its rugged granite cliffs and secluded beaches, the waves softly lapping at the shore. Spargi offers quiet coves with shallow water so clear you can see every ripple of sand beneath, while Budelli mesmerizes with its legendary Pink Beach, the sand glowing a delicate blush against the brilliant blues of the surrounding sea. At each stop, you can dive into the water, float weightless in the calm bays, or snorkel among vibrant marine life, feeling utterly immersed in this untouched world.
Onboard, a selection of fresh local delights enhances the experience: chilled white wine, fragrant cheeses, crusty bread, and succulent seafood that tastes of the sea itself. Every bite is paired with the panoramic views, the gentle sway of the boat, and the endless horizon stretching before you. The sun warms your skin, the breeze carries the scent of salt and wild herbs, and the soft lapping of waves creates a hypnotic soundtrack.

Time seems to stretch here, measured only by the gentle motion of the boat and the light shifting across the islands.
As the boat turns back toward the harbor, the islands fade behind you, but the memory lingers: crystalline waters, sun-drenched cliffs, secret beaches, and the intoxicating scent of sea and wild Mediterranean vegetation.
